For our boys' club group, Garden Sanctuary offers the
Pioneers For Christ, a Church of God-sponsored,
age-graded scouting type program for reaching, teaching
and keeping boys for Christ.  Under the leadership of
Bobby Goss, the program meets on Wednesday evenings
at 7:00 PM and seeks to motivate the boys spiritually
through Bible study, moral guidance and Christian
role models.  Mental strength is encouraged by an awards-
based weekly program.  Physical recreation and activities
are provided, and participants are introduced to church and
community activities to help develop social
skills and awareness.



THE WORD is Philippians 4:13, "I can do all things through
Christ who strengthens me."

THE COVENANT reads "I am not perfect, I have not reached
the goal, I have not finished the race, and I refuse to give up.
I will forget those things in the past that have stopped me from
obtaining that goal.  I will continue daily following Christ with
the living hope that one day I will be like Him."

THE CREED is: ONE IN PURPOSE, ONE IN FAITH,
ONE IN CHRIST.

The boys become pioneers and progress through the warrior
path of four age levels and almost 100  possible gates of
achievement.  The youngest age group  is for ages 5 thru 6
and is called the Champions.  The second level, for ages
7 thru 9, is called the Disciples, and the third level, for ages
10 thru 12, is called the Apostles.  The fourth and final level
is called the Junior Centurions.  The highest achievement
for a boy is the Boy of Valor Award, and leaders may work
toward the Man of Valor Award.
