To meet the needs of our growing congregation and to be
a vital part of an ongoing revitalization of our community, we
are involved in what is basically a two-phase expansion program.
PHASE ONE, completed in June 2005, involved the construction
of a new Christian Education building adjacent to our existing
sanctuary. In addition to five offices and fifteen classrooms,
this building includes a 50' x 85' recreation area with basketball
goals and a volleyball installation as well as a side stage area
measuring 14' x 31'. There are four storage rooms, a 20' x26'
kitchen and a 24' x 52' multipurpose/dining area. Also included
are a new 12' x 35' tiled entrance foyer, four multi-user bath-
rooms and two new nursery facilities with discreet parental
paging systems. Total square footage of the building
is 18,660.

As soon as possible after these modifications, PHASE TWO
will involve the construction of a new sanctuary, probably
sitting off the rear of the resulting complex and
overlooking Glencairn Gardens. At that point, the dream
which gave birth to our name, "Garden Sanctuary",
will finally have been realized.
