At Garden Sanctuary, prayer is understood to be the crucial
building block of a strong church fellowship.  Of course, it is
important that each member develop and practice a strong
individual prayer life, since regular communion with God leads
to peace, understanding and wisdom, as well as strength to
battle the enemy.

In addition, we gather on Sunday mornings for corporate prayer
in the Church Sanctuary from 9:45 to 10:20 AM, which serves
as a spiritual lead-in to our 10:30 AM worship service.

Beyond that, opportunities for additional corporate prayer are
provided on a regular basis.  Our church prayer team, under
the leadership of Larry Coleman, plays a support role for all
such programs.  At least once a quarter, a 24-hour Prayer Vigil
takes place from 6:00 PM on a Friday until 6:00 PM on Saturday.
During this vigil, at least one volunteer is in the main sanctuary
praying at all times.  Volunteers sign up to pray for a minimum
of 1-hour increments.
